Julie wrote ……… in Milanese I did what the book said and just hung the new pair on a temporary pin, then put the pair around a passive. Did a row then gently pulled down the new pair. The cloth stitch is so tight you cant see where the pair was added, so glad I didnt do this the Honiton way as I’m sure it would have shown!! Didnt really think this would work so well!
Julie this is the method I generally use (and teach); but then it depends on where and when the new pair is to be added and if, like in Honiton and in sections of Beds, when there is a particular way it is to be done.
