Some people knit wool into blankets
Some crochet with treble and chain
Some people cut lovely new fabric
Just to sew it together again.

But me, I like to use bobbins
And weave patterns in thread without fear.
And if someone should say it’s so useless
“So are peacocks and rainbows, my dear.”
