half a cup (4 oz) butter or marg.
half a cup castor sugar (Liz uses ordinary)
vanilla (Liz adds a squeeze of lemon to take some of the very sweet taste away)
half a cup sultanas (chopped raisins would be good, currants too hard)
half a cup dessicated coconut (or sunflower seeds)
1 large cup (6 oz) S.R. Flour
Pinch of salt.
About 2 cups of cornflakes, slightly crushed, for rolling the mixture in.
Cream butter and sugar, add egg, beat well.
Add vanilla, sultanas, and coconut
Sift flour and salt, add to ixture.
Take heaped teaspoons and roll in cornflakes.
Placed on greased slide, allow room for spreading.
Bake in a moderate oven, 170 Deg. C for 15 minutes
